**After 27 years, David Johnson has left the American Horn Quartet. He will now concentrate on his teaching and the master classes he presents around the world.

**David Johnson appeared as soloist with the National Orchestra of Malta on October 14. He performed Mozart's 4th Horn Concerto.

**Christian Schweitzer is filling a one-year position in the symphony orchestra of Biel, Switzerland.

**Conservatorio graduate Li Min will return to a position in Beijing, China.

**The 2010 American Horn Quartet tour has already been 1/2 booked. The AHQ will perform in the Portland, OR area February 22-24 and in Denver at the University of Denver at Boulder February 25-26 and as part of the Grand County Chamber Music Series on February 27. Performance dates between February 28 and March 6 are still available.

**The American Horn Quartet will have two performances in Prague August 7 and 8. Complete information about the tour will be available on the LINKS and CALENDAR pages in the near future.

**Robert Wasik, a student of David Johnson's at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, was awarded the 2nd and 4th horn position in the Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, Warsaw, Poland in January 2009.
