  Conservatorio horn students past
  and present perform at the
  Lugano Christmas market.

Valentin Eschmann and Charles Crabtree, both students at the Conservatorio, will compete in the 2011 Brno (CZ) Horn Competition.

In August, David Johnson joined with members of the
Orlando (FL) Philharmonic horn section and other Central
Florida horn pros for the orchestra's chamber series
concert, Hornscapes. David's fellow musicians for this
performance included Mark Fischer, principal horn and
general manager of the Orlando Philharmonic; Philharmonic
section members Carolyn Blice and Kathy Thomas;
and guests Pam Titus, Johnny Pherigo, Ben Lieser and
Bill Warnick.

  The horn class at the Conservatorio again provided music for
  the Franklin College graduation in May 2011. This is the 3rd
  year the Franklin has asked the horn studio to provide
  entertainment and incidental music for the ceremony.
